Research Training
Graduate training primarily involves research which takes place through the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Graduate Studies (SGS).
The mission of the SGS is to provide effective support and leadership throughout the Health Science Center for the establishment, coordination, and support of academic training programs in the health sciences. This mission is supported by a primary goal within the SGS: to educate the next generation of biomedical, public health, and clinical researchers while promoting innovative research programs in the biomedical, clinical, and translational sciences.
Students looking to pursue a graduate degree from the SGS benefit from the expertise of graduate faculty who pursue research in a myriad of fields within the biomedical and public health sciences. SGS students may also take advantage of the numerous state-of-the-art facilities that house the various SGS programs across the State of Texas.
