TIGM Grant-In-Aid Program
The Texas Institute for Genomic Medicine (TIGM) announces the availability of a special TIGM GRANT-IN-AID PROGRAM exclusively for faculty and researchers from Texas A&M University and the Texas A&M Health Science Center. The goal of the TIGM GRANT-IN-AID PROGRAM is to stimulate research using mouse genetic models of development and disease through the OMNI Bank II resources available through TIGM.
Key Features of the Program
Access up to 2 unique ES cell clones derived from the TIGM OMNI Bank II library (http://www.tigm.org/database/) to create C57 breeding pairs (2 heterozygous breeding pairs per gene) The ES cell clones from the TIGM OMNI Bank II LIbrary and two pairs of heterozygous breeding pairs of mice, for EACH of the clones will be provided FREE OF CHARGE to qualified faculty researchers from Texas A&M University and The Texas A&M Health Science Center Interested faculty researchers should submit an application for the TIGM GRANT-IN-IAD PROGRAM through their Vice President for Research (TAMU or HSC) PI with NIH Grants: see information on NIH SUPPLEMENTS for obtaining genetically modified mice
