Contract Administration
Welcome!
Contract administration provides contract review and approval of a wide array of business and academic agreements and contracts. These contract documents establish enforceable obligations, provide vaulable rights, create financial and legal exposure, and are critical to the business of the Texas A&M Health Science Center. The review and approval process includes, but is not limited to, compliance review, analysis and recommendation for appropriate changes to contracts.
Because the health science center can be legally bound by contracts, it is important that contracts comply with the existing laws of the State of Texas and The Texas A&M University System Policies and Procedures. The health science center has a clear obligation to comply with all regulations pertaining to the administration of agreements and contracts. With this point in mind, contract administration can help you avoid the pitfalls of contracting and will work with you to produce a dependable, fully executed contract. Therefore, our mission is to guide our member colleges and centers through the complex contracting processes to achieve their contract needs.
