Known as the "Wildflower Capital of Texas," Temple is recognized for its strength as a regional medical center and is a campus site for the College of Medicine. TAMHSC is in partnership with Scott & White, the area's largest employer and hospital. Temple is home to more physicians per capita than any other community in the nation. TAMHSC medical students can elect to spend all four years of their medical education training or two years of clinical training on the Temple campus.
