The city of Round Rock holds a population of 104,000 and is located 15 miles north of Austin in the Central Texas Hill Country. There are plenty of opportunities for shopping in the area, including the Round Rock Premium Outlets and La Frontera shopping center.

In 1851, a small community was built on the banks of  Brushy Creek, near a round, anvil-shaped rock located in the middle of the water. This rock was used to help travelers remember where low water crossings were for their horses, wagons, and cattle, and was a stop along the Chisolm Trail.

Round Rock is also home to several minor league sports teams, including the Round Rock Express baseball team which is a Triple A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.

Our Round Rock Campus opened its doors in 2009, and boasts a state-of-the-art Clinical Learning Resource Center that helps train and educate students in a controlled and simulated hospital environment. The 17,000 square-foot center replicates the look and feel of a hospital while providing equipment for student discovery, practice and review outside of the traditional classroom.
